NEW HAT!!!!!!!

You heard it here first. I got a new hat.   It’s been 3 years with the same magnificent hat.  I’d like to take a moment now to celebrate Hat.

Hat and I have laughed, we’ve cried, hell we even won a pair softball games together.  I can’t begin to express the love I have for Hat.   I’ve gone to through quite a few difficult times these last couple of years and Hat was always there for me.

Hat was sitting in my backpack (which was next to me)  when I had my interview for Harley-Davidson.  Hat was right where it  belonged, Sitting on my head when I  got the call telling me I got the job at Harley.  

When we won our first softball game last season,  Hat leapt from my head and into the sky after the final out of the game.  He was quickly back on for all the high-fives, chest-bumps, and ass-slaps that were part of the celebration.  Hat was there for the lemonade bath that ensued when Ethan dumped the cooler on me. 

Hat and I have done just about everything together over the past three years.   We’ve even dealt with the hurtful comments that have been tossed Hat’s direction.  I hope hate remembers the way that I stood up for him and told the person that it was okay,  Hat wasn’t that dirty. Or that it didn’t matter what color the bill used to be because I liked it better that shade. 

Here is a picture of my new hat sitting next to Hat.  As you can see the Hat is still in great shape, and will probably be making appearances  from time to time.  When it comes down too it Hat just needs to slow things down a little.  

 

I just found this picture also of Hat helping me hit a homerun.    I’m going to leave it at that but feel free to comment with your favorite Hat memories.  Also does anyone have ideas What the name of my new hat should be?
